This lovely plant grows 4” green leaves on purple that possess a licorice – clove scent and flavor. This basil goes deliciously in Thai food, salads and lemonades.
It is also grown as an ornamental and aromatic plant, as well as being used medicinally to fight insomnia, colds, skin irritation and aid digestion. Approximately 50 to 60 days to maturity from transplant.
